Vineyard Notes

This wine is made from 100% estate-grown fruit. Our vines are sheltered in the foothills of Carter’s Mountain in the Monticello American Viticultural Area (AVA).

Winemaker Notes

Pinot Noir is one of the most challenging grapes to grow and can only be made in the best of vintages. The Pinot Noir was harvested in our highest density block with a beautiful south facing slope in the early morning and crushed into tank. During fermentation gentle punch downs and pumpovers extracted beautiful color and flavor. The wine was barreled down in 2 and 3 year old French oak and aged for 18 months prior to bottling.
